"NOMAD, a survivors' handbook, a travellers' guide for anyone who has known the burden of a life bundled into bags. Weekes' word journeys conjure...and reveal the inner world of the eternal wanderers."--A-dZiko Simba Gegele
"After the Soufrière Hills volcano explosion...in 'exile' from her beloved Montserrat,...choking memories of the flaming mountain follow the poet like an untamable spectre of awe and fear that awakens in her the determination to face life's challenges with stubborn grit."--J.A. George Irish
